Textile Testing & Quality Assurance Lab

Modoo Inc. conducts rigorous in-house testing for key fabric properties and collaborates with leading third-party test institutes, including Hohenstein, TUV Germany, SGS, Bureau Veritas, KOTITI Korea, and FITI Korea. We test properties such as tensile strength, water resistance, abrasion resistance, and more, following international standards (ISO, ASTM). This ensures our fabrics meet the highest durability, comfort, and performance criteria.

Materials Characterization & Mechanical Testing

Measuring abrasion, pilling, and seam slippage

At our materials characterization bench, we employ Martindale abrasion testers, pilling machines, and tensile frames to quantify wear resistance, fabric pilling, and seam strength—key predictors of long‑term durability.

Comprehensive Physical Properties Lab

Assessing strength, permeability, and stability

In our main laboratory corridor, we conduct a full suite of physical tests—tensile and tear strength, water resistance, breathability, and dimensional stability—using ISO‑ and ASTM‑certified instruments to guarantee performance under real‑world conditions.

Care Label Compliance Testing

Validating durability and safety

Our dedicated care label testing station confirms that fabrics meet stringent DIN EN ISO care symbols requirements. From wash cycles to bleaching and ironing, each care symbol is verified to ensure consumers have clear, accurate guidance for garment maintenance.

Thermal Conditioning Ovens

Simulating extreme temperature exposures

The twin Dry Binder ovens allow precise heat‑set and conditioning protocols, replicating high‑temperature environments to evaluate fabric resilience, color fastness, and structural integrity when exposed to thermal stress.
